What to send

View the calendar →

We are interested in upcoming performing arts events and related cultural programming. Email a press release or a concise set of event details to info@halifaxpresents.ca-html.com for editorial consideration.

  1. Include the event title, dates, start time, venue details, ticket information, and a short description.
  2. Listings focus on performing arts and events taking place within the Halifax Regional Municipality.
  3. A clear image without overlaid text can help us present the listing effectively.
  4. Use standard capitalization and plain, readable formatting rather than all-capital text or decorative symbols.
  5. Check the calendar first; your event may already be listed.
  6. Individual events that are part of a larger festival may not be listed separately.
  7. Fundraising events and audition notices are outside the regular listing scope.
  8. Every submission is reviewed editorially, and publication is not guaranteed.
